We are seeking a self-directed, results and team-oriented individual to provide leadership expertise to an Employer Account Services team in Calgary. These services include determining: account eligibility and premium amounts as well as account registration, maintenance, collection of premiums and closures.


The primary responsibilities in this challenging role will be to coordinate the day-to-day business of the team, manage team performance, and engage in process improvements. The key focus is on our customers, making certain that service delivery meets their needs and expectations.

Your Supervisor, EAS Responsibilities:
• Leadership and supervision of a dynamic work team
• Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction by analysis of customer needs and expectations
• Staff development and performance management through effective coaching, mentoring, goal setting and performance evaluation techniques
• Ensure a high level of quality assurance through review and audit
• Team management through recruitment, budget management, rewards and recognition and team building
• Identify and implement continuous service delivery, process and system improvements
• Participation in projects at the unit, department or corporate level, as required


Your experience and skills:
• Post-Secondary education supplemented with experience in a leadership role
• Working knowledge of industry classification and rate setting are an asset
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in recruitment, performance development, team building, coaching and mentoring
• Experience in working collaboratively with peers within a leadership team
• Demonstrated change management and process improvement skills and experience
• Strong planning, organizational and analytical problem solving abilities with sound verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a exceptional customer service focus
• Excellent WCB systems knowledge is a requirement
• Strong knowledge of FOIP Act, WC Act and policies and procedures an asset
• Equivalencies may be considered

SALARY: $89,984 to $105,848 per annum (Pay Grade 12)

Final candidates for this position are required to undergo a security clearance as a condition of employment. Successful candidate must reside in Alberta and be able to work in person in our Calgary office as required by their position.
