We are looking for a part time temporary (maternity leave) Incline Industries Youth Engagement Coordinator for Sylvan Lake! Central Alberta Youth Unlimited (CAYU) is a not-for-profit Christian organization that builds meaningful, long-term connections with vulnerable young people by meeting them on their turf. CAYU addresses the holistic health of young people: physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual.

Position Overview
Under the direction of Central Alberta Youth Unlimited, the Incline Industries Youth Engagement Coordinator will:
- Provide general oversight to Incline Industries space
- Oversee staff scheduling and responsibilities
- Implement rules and protocols for members and attendees.
- Ensure use of sign in sheets and participant waivers and maintain participant contact lists
- Manage calendar of events including rentals, birthday parties, programming and use of lobby.
- Facilitate a lunch time program for students during lunch hours.
- Network with the city of Sylvan Lake and the local schools.
- Promote the program and communicate via approved social media channels.
- Oversee emergency protocols

What must the person have to thrive in this position?
• Professionalism in verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills, especially in leading small groups of volunteers or youth.
• Passion for apprenticeship, leadership development, mentorship, discipleship, and evangelism.
• Ability to work on a team and independently, while being a highly efficient time manager.
• Ability to plan and coordinate meetings, small groups, and events.
• At least two years experience working with youth.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.

What are the working conditions?
• Administrative work at home, CAYU office, or coffee shop.
• Collaborating with other CAYU staff and volunteers.
• Developing and maintaining partnerships with individuals, schools, and community organizations.
• Occasional evening work, weekend work, day trips, and extended trips.

Time commitment: Part-time, 20 hours per week.

Training: Organization-wide and hands-on training, ongoing Supervision, and feedback.
