As a Product Support Representative - Mining in Elkford, BC, you will provide technical solutions, product integration, and after-sales support. As the primary contact for assigned mining accounts, you will help resolve technical issues, optimize equipment performance, and build strong relationships with customers and manufacturers. By working closely with both, you will drive success—because the right partnership makes everything possible.

Your Role

  • Act as the main contact for assigned mining customers, providing technical support.
  • Develop parts and service proposals tailored to customer needs.
  • Advise customers on product functionality, limitations, and applications.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by aligning performance standards with safe and efficient equipment use.
  • Analyze equipment component life and recommend maintenance strategies.
  • Assist customers in optimizing machine operation for productivity and reliability.
  • Introduce new technologies and product improvements.
  • Provide manuals for parts, equipment, and delivery.
  • Travel to customer sites for hands-on support.
  • Assist with remote monitoring systems setup for Komatsu equipment.
  • Maintain accurate equipment records in CRM or ERP systems.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial sales. Equivalent experience in a mining, or technical construction role will be considered.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician or Parts Technician.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with industry knowledge.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and identify growth opportunities.
  • Experience interpreting and managing contracts.
