Product Support Representative - Mining

As a Product Support Representative - Mining in Elkford, BC, you will provide technical solutions, product integration, and after-sales support. As the primary contact for assigned mining accounts, you will help resolve technical issues, optimize equipment performance, and build strong relationships with customers and manufacturers. Your Role

• Act as the main contact for assigned mining customers, providing technical support.
• Develop parts and service proposals tailored to customer needs.
• Advise customers on product functionality, limitations, and applications.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by aligning performance standards with safe and efficient equipment use.
• Analyze equipment component life and recommend maintenance strategies.
• Assist customers in optimizing machine operation for productivity and reliability.
• Introduce new technologies and product improvements.
• Provide manuals for parts, equipment, and delivery.
• Travel to customer sites for hands-on support.
• Assist with remote monitoring systems setup for Komatsu equipment.
• Maintain accurate equipment records in CRM or ERP systems.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial sales. Equivalent experience in a mining, or technical construction role will be considered.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician or Parts Technician.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
• Proactive and self-motivated with industry knowledge.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data and identify growth opportunities.
• Experience interpreting and managing contracts.
