Position: Account Executive, Membership Experience

Department: Membership Experience

Reports to: Manager, Membership Experience

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Account Executive supports the mandate and goals of the Membership team by providing superior customer service while promoting, renewing, and upselling our ticket products to existing and potential ticket members.

This role will focus on:

  • Manage assigned accounts and develop strong professional relationships with Canucks ticket Members to meet standards of excellence and guarantee renewals
  • Identify opportunities for in-person engagements with Members
  • Support the 899.GOAL line and general ticket inquiries, responding in a timely manner with the appropriate solution
  • Manage Member requests and expectations and assist with game day requirements
  • Promote, renew, and sell ticket products and services such as full, half, and quarter season Memberships, and group, minor hockey, and single game tickets
  • Follow up with outstanding accounts and declined payments in a timely manner
  • Execute Member retention programs; continue to extend superior customer service and raise service levels on an on-going basis
  • Participate in various Member events and execute on fulfilling Member benefits throughout the season
  • Perform game night duties including Season Ticket Member of the Game, game night ticketing issues, and unique Member experiences
  • Communicate and carry out service policies and procedures to Members in the most professional manner
  • Provide ongoing feedback and recommendations to enhance front line customer service plan, revenue generation, and product development
  • Perform administrative support for team, as necessary

YOU HAVE:

  • University degree in a related field with customer service experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proven team player with a commitment to service excellence
  • Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Superior attention to detail and strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Flexible with ability to adapt easily to changing priorities and schedules
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Self-motivated, positive and engaging attitude
  • Extensive computer knowledge, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint),
  • Good working knowledge of presentation and desktop publishing software is an asset
