What to Expect

The role of the Inside Sales Advisor is to educate, inspire, and skillfully guide Tesla's potential customers through the vehicle purchase and configuration process. Inside Sales Advisors have the incredible opportunity to advise potential Tesla customers from all over North America, while honing their abilities in lead qualification.

We expect members of this team to become experts in our products and the direct-from-manufacturer sales model that has made Tesla an innovator in the automotive industry.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills, unshakeable moral fortitude, and a strong awareness of professional behavior when supporting customers.

What You'll Do
  • Fielding inbound calls to interact with customers in topics surrounding Tesla Sales, Service, and Delivery
  • Reviewing and assessing customer inquiries, escalating follow-ups, managing pre-delivery orders, and analyzing post-delivery feedback
  • Using a consultative approach to influence customer purchases while also buying into Tesla's mission, business model and brand. Accurately documenting data, concerns, and relevant information on the various tools used
  • Maintaining customer relationships from the initial interaction throughout the customer journey. Accurately document data, concerns and relevant information on various tools used
  • Developing and maintaining a sales pipeline. Achieving personal and group monthly metrics with the field teams
  • Seeking ways to collaborate with Tesla team while communicating ways to increase performance collectively with business partners and field teams
  • Read, analyze, follow processes and use good judgment when necessary. Follow up to provide feedback when necessary
What You'll Bring
  • Positive and energetic phone skills including excellent listening skills, strong writing skills, and grammatical genius. Bilingual, French and English (French as mother tongue or equivalent proficiency). Use of English is required for communications between internal and external partners, understanding and analysis of documents, and use of multiple platforms, interfaces and software
  • 1+ years of customer service and/or sales experience with proven track record to meet and exceed goals
  • Exceptional customer service, sales, and soft skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail. Establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships. Proof of exceptional ability
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment and achieve common goals
  • Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools including email, voicemail, MS Office, internet navigation, CRM applications
