Securiguard is currently looking for enthusiastic Field Support to join our team!

Security Field Support Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of field staff to ensure high standards of service delivery and operational efficiency. This role involves ensuring a safe and secure environment for all staff, contractors, and visitors, as well as responding to security incidents and managing Securiguard operations. The Field Support Supervisor will also focus on fostering a positive team environment and maintaining effective communication with clients and management.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight and Quality Assurance

  • Conduct unannounced post inspections to investigate complaints and ensure proper attendance, patrol duties, appearance, report-keeping, and vehicle operation.
  • Perform on-site quality assurance checks as directed by the operations team to maintain compliance with company standards.
  • Monitor staff activities and identify issues that could impact service delivery, providing operational support and guidance as needed.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that promotes collaboration and inclusivity.
  • Communicate client and management expectations effectively, encouraging a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ensure Security Professionals are adequately trained, prepared, and supported through employee orientation and ongoing mentoring.
  • Provide regular training sessions on operational and safety topics, with input and authorization from management.
  • Handle inquiries and requests from officers, liaising with management for resolution and communicating outcomes to staff.

Incident Management and Support

  • Respond to security incidents promptly and professionally, offering operational support to field staff.
  • Respond to near miss and safety incidents, conduct preliminary investigations, create detailed reports for management review.
  • Serve as management's representative outside of regular business hours, addressing concerns and ensuring smooth operations.

Fleet and Equipment Management

  • Ensure fleet vehicles are properly maintained and promptly address any deficiencies.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid BC security worker license.
  • Class 5 Driver's License with clean driver's abstract and claims history.
  • OFA certification (Preferred).
  • AST certification (Preferred).
  • Previous experience of at least 2 years in a security supervisory role and at least 4 years of experience as a security officer at various sites.
  • Strong customer service skills and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), TrackTik.
