Hourly Rate: $17.82

We are now inviting enthusiastic, passionate individuals to join our event staff team and be part of the excitement during Canucks games, Warriors games, and concerts at Rogers Arena. We can’t wait to meet you!

POSITION SUMMARY:

Ticket Centre Representatives play an integral role as the first point of contact with our fans at the Ticket Centre, whether that be in person, over the phone or on email. They perform sales and service functions at the Ticket Centre and assist our fans with ticketing inquiries. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position.

A typical shift includes:

  • Performing sales and service functions at Ticket Centre and ticket windows to external and internal clients, offering an exceptional and individualized customer experience
  • Receiving and distributing tickets under ‘will call’, premium tickets, and special programs (e.g., Family Packs, Holiday Packs, etc.)
  • Answering general ticketing and building inquiries at window, over telephone, and email
  • Solving ticketing issues that arise from external customers or from internal bookings (e.g., NHL, promoters, staff, AG, etc.) in a timely manner
  • Documenting customer ticket issues, concerns or feedback for review and/or follow-up by management or MXS team
  • Maintaining and conducting final balance of cash float
  • Performing and communicating service policies and procedures to Season Ticket Members
  • Promoting, renewing, and selling ticket products and services, whenever possible
  • Other duties as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years’ customer service, sales and/or promotions experience
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
  • A commitment to service excellence and proven team player
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional manner
  • Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent computer knowledge in standard office applications and database systems
  • Superior attention to detail and strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • A strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent, attitude, and mindset (DREAM)
  • Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than October 2025
  • Experience with Ticketmaster systems is an asset
  • This is an onsite role at Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver
