We have an exciting opportunity to join the SMB leadership team as the Vice President, Sales, leading a dynamic inside sales team both in Canada and in global contact centres outside Canada.

As a key member reporting to the SVP & President, SMB, this pivotal leadership position is dedicated to driving top-line sales growth through new customer acquisition, cross-sell and retention. Responsible for supporting over 400+ sales team members across Canada and abroad in an inside sales and call centre capacity, this role focuses on fostering success by cultivating an engaged and inclusive sales culture that embraces our campaign-based sales model.

Best-in-Class Campaign-based Selling

  • Approaches selling from a "marketing led, sales driven" campaign-based / leads-based sales motion to meet customers' needs and requirements
  • Experience integrating multiple aspects of telecom and technology offerings
  • Expertise in leveraging sales technology and call centre technology for sales coaching, velocity and productivity enhancements
  • Partners with marketing teams to drive high-volume, high-velocity selling activities

Team Leadership

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate both vision and strategy in order to effectively drive transformational change in sales culture
  • Drive a customer-centric approach in all sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the sales team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all team members feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and experiences
  • A natural assessor and developer of talent with an innate ability to identify both strengths and weaknesses and communicate them in a motivating, balanced, growth-motivated manner

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years experience with proven track record in leading high-volume sales or contact centre teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, train and develop a high performing account management team to grow the various segments of the B2B market
  • Build senior, high-level relationships to support existing businesses and recognize potential growth opportunities
  • Energetic, results-oriented, innovative, and highly motivated to succeed
  • Decisiveness and inspirational leadership
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline
