This is the position where most banking professionals start their career. This front-line service and sales role will build the foundation for a long career in banking. Schedule: Monday - Friday- or Tuesday - Saturday (flexibility required)

Location: Whistler Branch

Key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Process transactional needs of clients including cash transactions, deposits, withdrawals, loan/bill payments, cheque cashing/ordering, foreign currency, fund transfers, drafts, official cheques, and personal information updates on accounts.
  • Initiate conversations with clients to proactively identify their financial needs.
  • Enthusiastically sell BlueShore Financial products and services or refer clients with more complex requirements to specialized branch staff.
  • Apply and uphold branch policies, procedures and controls to meet compliance requirements and protect our branch and client's assets.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 1-2 years of customer service and cash experience (sales experience preferred).
  • Some post-secondary education preferred.

Pay Transparency

Pay transparency is an important characteristic of our recruitment process and overall BlueShore culture which supports a diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce.

This role is on a salary step program that provides timely recognition of skill development at important intervals. Salaries on this program are reviewed quarterly to reflect progress made. The range for this role is $45,700 - $50,000/year, plus variable reward bonus. This role also receives a location differential of $3,000 per year as a contribution toward the higher cost of living in this region.
