Responsibilities:

  • Using a variety of tools (Facebook, 411 etc.) you will investigate sources that lead to the location of a displaced consumer or debtor
  • Investigate sources in an effort to locate assets on personal and/or commercial accounts
  • Document in house systems with details of file activity
  • Establish contact with consumers (by telephone) to determine and confirm if findings are accurate
  • Negotiate payment of debts in accordance with client and company guidelines
  • Investigate and advise on different forms of payment and/or settlement options
  • Clearly document/update files on the system to support file activity
  • Uphold the CCA Code of Conduct by ethically treating each consumer with integrity, honesty, dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications:

  • 3rd party collections or Skip Tracing experience considered an asset
  • Customer service and call centre experience considered an asset
  • Strong investigative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Self-motivated, goal and detail oriented
  • Sound decision making and judgement
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Dedicated and ethical
  • Ability to work individually and with a team in a fast paced environment
  • Solid computer skills
  • Strong grasp of the English language
  • Ability to think outside of the box to reach a solution
  • Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal record check


Requirements:

  • To meet provincial licensing requirements, candidates holding a Work Permit must ensure it has at least 6 months of validity remaining at the time of application
