Responsibilities

  • Customer liaison - Be the first point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries promptly, both over the phone and in person.
  • Manage communications - Ensure a smooth flow of information with customers during repairs or maintenance work, keeping them informed throughout the process.
  • Schedule appointments - Coordinate and schedule service and repair appointments to maximize efficiency.
  • Prepare repair orders - Detail the vehicle's problems or symptoms to provide technicians with clear information.
  • Gather vehicle information - Collect insights from technicians about vehicle condition to recommend appropriate services to customers.
  • Maintain service records - Keep accurate records of completed service work to support efficient operations.
  • Act as a liaison - Facilitate communication between customers, technicians, and management regarding the status of work orders.

Qualifications

  • Experience - 2-5 years of experience in customer service, with a preference for experience in the automotive field.
  • Communication skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers, technicians, and management.
  • Driver's License - A valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract are required.
  • Customer service mindset - A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and resolving inquiries efficiently.
  • Critical thinking - Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Mechanical knowledge - A good understanding of mechanical components of automobiles to assist in customer inquiries.
  • Fast-paced adaptability - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
