As a Strategy and Planning Support Specialist will play a role in supporting the strategic initiatives and planning activities of the Technology organization. You will work closely with the management team to facilitate and drive strategic work, while also handling reporting, automation, and some administrative tasks.

Your Responsibilities:

Support the Strategic Planning by:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans
  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Track progress on strategic initiatives and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on goals and deliverables

Stewarding to the plan:

  • Prepare presentations, reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders
  • Coordinate and organize meetings, workshops, and planning sessions Facilitate discussions and meetings to ensure alignment and clarity
  • Develop and maintain reporting systems to track metrics such as key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Utilize automation tools to streamline reporting and data analysis processes

Other Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate management of Technology vendor renewals to ensure timely action and minimize operational risk
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all levels of the organization
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible
  • Handle administrative duties such as scheduling, invoice management, and correspondence

Your Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively and influence outcomes with internal stakeholders and senior representatives
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently, mentor others, and lead collaborative teams
  • Can adapt quickly to shifting priorities, inspire change and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and coordination skills
  • Subject matter expertise and knowledge of Business Analysis, Project Management and Performance Management frameworks and governance
  • Proficiency in reporting and automation tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
  • Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement

Your Experience:

  • University degree in the field of business or information technology, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Previous Supply Chain, Project Management and/or Risk Management training preferred
  • Knowledge of industry research and best practices, including Gartner
  • 5-10 years direct work experience in a similar role, preferably strategic or planning capacity, including roles in developing technology strategy
