In the interim, reporting to the Senior Director, Clinical Networks, Diagnostic & Therapeutic Services and working closely with the Diagnostic & Therapeutic Senior Medical Director, Zone DI Directors, referring and receiving providers, and provider office administrative staff, the Manager, DI Central Intake is a key member of Diagnostic Imaging services. This position establishes, implements, and manages day to day operations of the NSH-wide multidisciplinary DI Central Intake team. The NSH-wide DI Central Intake multidisciplinary team receives, reviews and routes Diagnostic Imaging referrals to the most appropriate provider utilizing validated current criteria and a medical imaging referral management system. The Manager is responsible for monitoring and reporting volumes, wait times and other key performance indicators.
The Manager adopts continuous quality improvement principles, innovation, and technological initiatives to advance Nova Scotia Health's commitment to enhance access to Diagnostic Imaging services. The Manager facilitates and champions a learning and research environment that aligns with the current and proposed future state of the Nova Scotia Health Authority.

$45.45 - $60.39 Hourly
