Description
Responsibilities: • Complete daily pre-shift set up • Scheduled daily work for Processing Stations • Process daily shipments and follow-up with issues • Liaison with US Customer Relationship Representative, Major Account Executives for returns program • Resolve problem shipments identified during processing on a daily basis with Customer • Prepare/retrieve all customs documentation. • Complete consolidation for all shipments and update each customer's shipments in the inventory system to shipped status. • Reconcile all outbound processed shipments to the paperwork. • Responsible to schedule and follow-up on a daily pick-ups for outbound shipments • Completion of daily, weekly, and monthly reports in a timely manner. • Responsible to manage/update the inventory control system on a daily basis. • Ensure all liquidation/destruction shipments are dealt with each week. • Fill in staff shortages • Exercise leadership skills and participate in staff development • Build team spirit • Solve staffing, scheduling and customer service issues • Attend Management meetings when required • Monitor Customer Schedule spreadsheet • Monitor Customer Disposition • Set up Southbound Shipments • Work directly with Custom Brokers for US Bound Shipments Qualifications: • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally; • Excellent organizational skills - ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines • Excellent team player • Exhibits good leadership qualities • Good interpersonal skills • Punctual and detail-oriented Must be able to work well independently or within a team environment
