Job Summary

Under the direction of the Manager, Standards and Training, the successful candidate will support the development and administration of Divisional Standards, Compliance, Training and Volunteer programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creation and Administration of Job Required Learning Items, Registration, Batch Loads, and Reporting.
  • Develops, creates, updates and maintains various training manuals, reference guides and business processes.
  • Provides support for Standard Operation Procedures program as well as the Compliance and Quality Management System Quarterly Updates, Safe Logs and Pin Pad Audit Reports.
  • Maintains and updates the Standards and Training, CMS Training Resource, KBRec, and City of Mississauga AED Program Websites.
  • Supports the City of Mississauga Volunteer Program and Volunteer Management System.
  • Liaise with Project Leader for Recreation Enterprise Management System ("REMS") replacement to ACTIVENet; providing direct support for staff training coordination and overall REMS business procedure and SOP revision and review.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Recreation, Office or Business Administration or related field with 3-5 years experience preferably related to service delivery.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications including ACTIVENet, SharePoint, Word and Excel. Experience with Better Impact, Web Ex Meetings, Events and Success Factors Learning Management System is an asset.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Experience in providing training, completing training documentation and working within a team environment are required.

Hourly Rate/Salary: $36.85 - $49.13
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
