The Opportunity
This position is based in out of our Mississauga, Ontario office, in the Core Lab Division. We're empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott's diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.
What You'll Do
Oversee all day-to-day customer support functions including electronic and manual order entry; customer invoicing; lot sequestering; customer care and communications to ensure positive Net Promoter Scores and achieve sales and margin Plan targets.
Provide input to the Senior Manager regarding 3rd party logistics/distribution team, ensuring 3PL organizations maintain healthy supply and inventory levels for ADD, AMD, ADC and APOC.
Support timely invoice payment, contract compliance to established KPIs and service levels to end user customers. Support all day-to-day 3PL warehouse activities, freight and distribution in the most cost-effective manner.
Support the implementation and maintenance of the effectiveness of the quality system.
Support the management of 3PL costs through project work to address issues.
Support the commercial sales and marketing organizations with proactive customer communication, demand planning and order management to achieve monthly sales and margin Plan expectations.
Understanding customer needs and aligning Abbott services to meet needs.
Required Qualifications
Three-year college diploma, bachelor's degree is preferred.
Three to five years related experience in a call centre environment.
Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.
Developed sense of urgency and organization.
Ability to manage direct reports and provide effective feedback to meet team objectives preferred.
Strong writing skills.
Knowledge of warehouse 3PL management, logistics and international ocean shipments
Bilingual French and English
SAP experience is preferred.
