YOUR IMPACT
Assumes a leadership role for an effective project / functional environment. Plans and assigns broad objectives across multiple projects / functions and ensures implementation through direct reports. Actively leads through the development of strategic direction, providing vision, leadership attributes, and a wide depth / breath of professional / technical expertise. Fosters the development of other leaders and empowers others to make decisions. People Manager: Select, directs and evaluates leadership team. Typically manages through one or more managers or senior managers. Individual Contributor: Provides expert technical or functional guidance to assist others in the development and implementation of new ideas. Assumes leadership role on projects involving the development of new company applications or programs and / or major customer projects.


WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
• Applies a high level of expertise across large segments of a business or function. Has extensive company or industry within a business unit or function. Has a high level of expertise and a full understanding of the business environment. Broad knowledge of all areas.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of various IT systems and technologies, such as network architecture, cloud infrastructure, servers, cybersecurity, and database management. They must possess a deep understanding of current best practices and emerging industry trends. Technical proficiency is necessary to analyze and solve complex technical issues to ensure smooth operations of the IT infrastructure
• Must have excellent organizational skills, time management, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. They must communicate effectively with cross-functional departments and stakeholders, including software developers, information security personnel, and others involved in the IT project.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services to support and innovative the exisitng products that meet the evolving needs of our enterprise customers. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, understanding of customer needs, and strong leadership skill.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. Advanced degree preferred.

• Experience: 12+ years of experience. Experience is usually gained within multiple business units.

• Effective internal and external interactions secured through exemplary influencing skills are required to achieve major goals of the business unit. Interactions contribute to high level identification, commitment and implementation of project and / or functional initiatives. Incumbents may negotiate with other departments and / or business units to obtain resources, commitment and agreement, etc.

• Incumbents direct and control the activities of a two or more departments and/or a functional area on a worldwide or regional basis, through department managers. Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

• Supporting commercial cloud operations in 10+ data center locations worldwide (public and private cloud) supporting 200M+ of commercial cloud revenue.

• Enabling double and triple digit growth of cloud services while meeting and beating SLAs and SLOs

• Actively participating in architecture and process decisions to improve service

• Leading a 40+ global operations team (Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America)

• Cross-functional collaboration with infra, service mgt, product management, support, engineering, and other groups

• Supporting acquisitions and integrations into the team

• Led service migration initiatives into Public Cloud (AWS & GCP)
