Overview
We are seeking a Client Service Associate to provide administrative support to our Groups Benefits Team. You’ll help our clients - employers of all sizes, across all industries, to build workplaces that work better.
This position can be based out of Gallagher's Group Benefits office locations based in Toronto, Barrie or Sudbury.
How you'll make an impact
- Build and maintain excellent rapport with our clients and insurance providers
- Assist clients with their day to day needs which can include; escalated claim inquiries from plan administrators and owners (life, disability, critical illness, health,
dental, travel, etc.), supporting their benefit plan eligibility maintenance, performing data entry as the need arises and sharing best practices - Follow up with insurance providers for timely completion of service requests
- Provide relevant industry information to clients and prepare employer and employee communication memos
- Host virtual demonstrations of Gallagher systems which support clients’ administrative need
- Process ad hoc adjustments to monthly invoices as required and perform peer review processes on large amounts of data
- Maintain client information (CRM, client files)
- Research and participate in webinars to build and maintain group benefit knowledge
- Engage other team members including the Benefits Consultant as complex client situations arise
- Answer telephone inquiries and respond promptly and professionally to email
- Exercise the utmost confidentiality in receiving information from clients
- Collaborate with client service colleagues throughout our branch to continuously improve our client service deliverables
- Complete ad hoc projects and duties as required
About you
- Post-secondary graduate from an accredited college or university degree or a minimum of 1 year of proven experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and experience with employee benefit plans will be considered an asset
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed problem solving skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast paced professional environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
- Familiarity with CRM systems and standard processes (not required but an asset)
- Bilingual (English/French) considered a strongly regarded asset
- GBA or CEBS certification considered an asset #LI-SS1 #LI-Hybrid
