What is the opportunity?

We are looking for an experienced IAM Systems Support Analyst who will play a key role in supporting, managing, and administering RBC's Privileged Account Inventory (PAI) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) applications. Operating as a subject matter expert (SME), you will function independently, solve complex problems, and fulfill requests with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate is adept at analyzing logs, optimizing performance, and ensuring error handling and recovery mechanisms are in place. Is passionate about information security and securing and protecting privileged accounts, credentials, and non-human access across tools, applications, and systems. In this role, you will require strong problem-solving skills, attention to details, and the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data workflows. You will support mission critical enterprise-wide services which will require being available on-call (24x7) duties and being available to work alternate hours.

What will you do?

  • Required expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues in ETL processes, strong SQL skills, and experience with data quality management.
  • Resolve ongoing medium to high complexity requests and incidents for Privileged Account Inventory (PAI) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) applications.
  • Deploy application changes for server, apply security patches, configurations, and enhancements following internal hand-off from the Engineering team.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve issues and identify defects, opportunities for automation and enhancements.
  • Maintain, support test and production environments and create, maintain, and writing technical documentation and complex knowledge articles.
  • Take on initiatives on self-appointed projects and self-created processes to better enhance the technology.
  • Review and improve technical design and security architecture design documentation.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of database experience working with Microsoft SQL, demonstrating proficiency in writing queries, manipulating data, and understanding database concepts.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting Privileged Account Inventory Privileged Access Management (PAM) applications (CyberArk PAM and HashiCorp Vault).
  • Minimum of 2 years of Windows and Linux server administration, Active Directory Users and Groups, and LDAP.
  • Minimum of 2 years of scripting experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SQL, Python, PowerShell, Java, JCL.
  • Database experience with MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase, Oracle, and Mongo.
  • Experience with IT Service Management (incident, problem, change, configuration, asset, knowledge, and service level).
  • Display a strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills, work with minimum supervision with the ability to collaborate with and lead teams toward resolution.

Nice-to-have:

  • Professional certifications, e.g. CyberArk (Trustee, Defender, Sentry, and CDE), HashiCorp Vault (Operations Professional and Associate), MCSE, CISSP, GSEC, GCIH.
  • Knowledge with audit regulatory requirements and risk and compliance processes.
  • GitHub repository, Ansible, and cloud platforms and containers. E.g. OpenShift, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Kubernetes, docker, etc.
  • Knowledge with load balancers (F5, GTM, and LTM), firewalls, SSL certificates, SSO, and Disaster Recovery concepts.
  • Knowledge with application performance monitoring and events detection tools such as Dynatrace, Zabbix, SCOM, Moogsoft, QRadar, Splunk, Logstash, SIEM, Elastic Stack, etc.
