A Day in the Life:
-Work within the R&D team to assist in creating and updating databases for Flynn products.
-Assist with estimating, utilizing specialised computer software.
-Cross checking database with manufactured parts.
-Perform quality control checks on materials supplied.
-Generate reports on deficiencies within the software and coordinating with software developer for updates.
-Present and train other branches on this software and Flynn products.
-Provide technical support for the database and the products as needed.
-Manage product inventory along with procurement team.
-Manage forecast and coordinate with procurement team to ensure enough inventory is held to meet forecast.
-Compliance with all company policies including continuous improvement training and initiatives.
-Other duties as assigned.
What Your Bring:
-1-2 years experience working with Research and Development Teams; preferably within the construction industry.
-Strong communication and organizational skills.
-Comfortable with presenting to internal team members.
-Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings/shop drawings.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
-Past experience with Windows and Doors is an asset.
-Past experience with Logikal software is an asset.
