Summary

Working with the team members of the Bell Media Credit and Collections department, the Senior Credit and Collections Administrator is responsible for the adjudication of credit and collection of media accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Credit and collections - Media

  • Regular follow-up on an assigned list of accounts
  • Contacting customers for payment of outstanding balances
  • Following up with sales
  • Responding to inquiries (both internal and external) on a timely and professional basis
  • Credit adjudication of accounts to determine credit worthiness
  • Forecasting of monthly collections


Account Maintenance

  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Identification and clearing small balance adjustments
  • AFDA identification


Other Duties

  • Ensuring credit card payments are processed as required
  • Back-up for month-end Reports
  • Cross-training/back-up for Credit Administrator or other team members

Critical Competencies

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in a Credit & Collection role
  • Certified Credit Professional designation (CCP) or working towards is preferred
  • Highly organized and results driven
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Post-secondary education
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate in a timely and professional manner with all levels (verbally and in writing)
  • Bilingual (English/French) an asset
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to learn and use a variety of computer programs and software
  • Media industry and accounting experience an asset
