Tasks

  • Perform daily follow-ups with employees, including tracking absences, returns, and occupational health and safety (OHS) follow-ups.
  • Be the main point of contact for employees, ensuring their attendance.
  • Manage disciplinary follow-ups and requests for administrative documents in collaboration with HR.
  • Work with different teams to ensure and coordinate personnel recruitment.
  • Support the recruitment team by answering questions, providing updates, and sharing recruitment needs information.
  • Identify and recognize employees who stand out for internal promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and encourage the application of best practices.
  • Intervene in case of operational issues or challenges on the ground with employees.
  • Coordinate first aid and forklift operator certification training.
  • Perform regular administrative tasks such as data entry to update employee files, manage records, and update system logs.
  • Respond to emails and other communications, ensuring prompt follow-up with clients.
  • Maintain inventory records and coordinate purchases.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in operational support, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in both French and English for daily communication with warehouse staff.
  • Valid driver's license, required for the position.
