Assembly Support Quality Technician

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician, reporting to the Assembly Quality Technical Support Team Leader, to help us maintain and raise assembly quality standards for Ski-doo and Can Am Spyder vehicles. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to be creative, innovative and influence technical directions in the powersports industry. You'll also have the chance to be the quality reference for the sectors assigned to you, and be at the forefront of production decisions.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Support assembly operations on all types of issues that may affect product quality;

  • Define, measure and analyze production issues related to product non-conformance;

  • Coordinate all containment plan activities;

  • Follow up on improvements required for each issue;

  • Take the lead in managing product issues;

  • Judge the quality of vehicles produced, interpret quality criteria, etc;

  • Contribute to the improvement and optimization of general processes;

  • Work in conjunction with supplier quality assurance, engineering, industrial engineering, after-sales service and production to provide recommendations for continuous improvement of product quality.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • D.E.C. in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent experience;

  • 1 to 3 years relevant experience;

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

  • Autonomous, able to work as part of a team, creative and customer service-oriented;

  • Sense of initiative, structure and rigor;

  • Ability to make decisions in a dynamic environment;

  • Knowledge of recreational products will be considered an asset;

  • French language skills.
