Job Summary

We are hiring a Collections Specialist to join our team in Regina for a 6-month term position. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and highly organized, has superior computer, proofreading, time management skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They are able to work independently, follow instructions with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, professional team environment, providing excellent service for internal and external clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining an efficient electronic file system, with strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Organizing and prioritizing numerous tasks and completing them under time constraints
  • Making outbound collection calls in an efficient and professional manner while remaining composed when dealing with a diverse group of people and situations
  • Performing complex editing and formatting for correspondence and documents
  • Following instructions from a diverse group of clients, lawyers and staff

Qualifications include:

  • Two to three years of experience preferred in the Collections practice area
  • Software program knowledge in: FCT Default Solutions/Collect Link, Collection Highway, Techcom, Aderant, MS Planner, MS Word, Excel and document software management are an asset
  • Strong communicator with problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment
  • Ability to follow the instructions from a diverse group of clients, lawyers and staff
