Role Summary:

This position is responsible for the safe dispatch of company flights in accordance with the Company Operations Manual, the Dispatch Procedures Manual, as well as Transport Canada Regulations. This position is crucial for safe and efficient flight operations, requiring candidates with superior situational awareness and attention to detail. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operational flight watch
  • Communication with flight crew and provision of support to related departments
  • Generation of aircraft load plan as well as weight and balance calculations

Must haves:

  • Minimum 21 years of age as per Transport Canada
  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Must successfully pass initial and recurrent Transport Canada dispatcher competency check
  • Must be able to obtain a Radio Certification and Security Clearance
  • A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that's through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support
  • Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada

Nice to haves:

  • FAA Dispatcher License is an asset
  • Previous Dispatch experience
